Voted the world’s third best Syrah!

Competing with 25 countries and 404 other wines, Number One Constitution Road Shiraz 2011 fared fantastically at the Syrah du Monde competition taking third place overall after the 2010 earned a silver last year.
An opulent wine made from the best grapes sourced from Robertson Winery’s top Shiraz vineyards, Constitution Road Shiraz is deep rich purple in colour with an intense aroma of dark ripe black berrie, seductive spicy fruit and black pepper characteristics. It packs a velvety palate with supple fine-grained tannins combining well with the French oak.
Syrah du Monde says, “Each of the wines that distinguished themselves at Syrah du Monde® did so because of their own distinctive quality, not in comparison to other wines. A favorable score was given to wines with good Syrah varietal character, and a well-balanced oak was considered to be a plus. However, oakiness was marked down if it masked varietal aromas and flavours.”
